Job Title: HR Generalist
Industry: IT
Contract Duration: 7 months
Location: Hampshire/Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)
Day Rate: £230 - £280 per day (Inside IR35)
Start Date: October 2026
The Role:
- Handle the full generalist remit day to day, from HR admin through to employee relations and project work
- Manage ER cases from start to finish, including absence, performance, grievances and disciplinaries
- Handle HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract changes, leavers and HR system updates
- Advise and coach line managers on policy, process and people issues
- Support HR projects and change activity as business priorities evolve
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across a large, matrixed organisation
- Work closely with the HR Manager and a small, supportive HR team

Skills Needed:
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role within a corporate or structured environment
- Solid ER casework experience, with sound knowledge of UK employment law
- Confident managing a varied workload with little direction and structuring your own time
- Comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-moving, fairly informal culture
- Able to switch to a formal, professional approach when the situation calls for it
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to advise managers at all levels
- Discreet, pragmatic and approachable, with a good sense of humour
- Able to commute to Farnborough 3 days per week
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable
