Our teams operate with accountability, collaboration, and a continuous-improvement mindset to deliver meaningful results for employees, clients, and business partners.

Summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide hands-on HR operations, employee relations, and compliance support across our UK workforce, with the opportunity to expand into additional European markets as the organization grows. This role will support the full employee lifecycle across permanent employees, contingent workers, Agency of Record (AOR), and Employer of Record (EOR) populations. The HR Generalist will play an important role in maintaining compliant employment practices, supporting TUPE-related activities, administering HR processes through Workday, and partnering with internal teams and external employment providers. The ideal candidate combines strong UK employment-law knowledge with practical HR operations experience in a complex, multi-worker workforce environment.

Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, employment documentation, contract administration, transfers, extensions, renewals, leave administration, and offboarding.
  • Support HR administration and employee relations across permanent employees, contingent workers, Agency of Record (AOR), and Employer of Record (EOR) populations, ensuring appropriate processes are followed for each employment model.
  • Support TUPE-related activities, including employee data preparation, due diligence, consultation coordination, employee communications, transfer documentation, and post-transfer integration in partnership with Legal, Compliance, Payroll, and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, employment documentation, organizational data, and HR transactions within Workday, ensuring strong data integrity, appropriate approvals, and timely completion of HR workflows.
  • Provide practical guidance to managers and employees regarding HR policies, employee relations matters, performance concerns, grievances, disciplinary processes, absence management, workplace issues, and employment best practices.
  • Support compliance with applicable UK employment requirements, including Right to Work, Working Time Regulations, Agency Workers Regulations, UK GDPR, National Minimum Wage requirements, IR35 considerations, and other relevant employment legislation.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and external AOR/EOR providers to ensure employees and contingent workers are onboarded, managed, paid, transferred, and offboarded accurately and compliantly.
  • Assist with HR audits, compliance reviews, employee documentation, policy administration, workforce reporting, and the identification and remediation of HR or employment-related risks.
  • Improve HR processes, policies, standard operating procedures, Workday workflows, and service-delivery practices to create scalable and consistent HR operations.
  • Support the continued development of HR infrastructure and employment practices for additional European markets as Pinnacle Group expands its workforce and operational footprint.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
