We’re delighted to be supporting a well-established, values-led organisation in the appointment of a People Operations Consultant to join its collaborative People & Culture team during a busy and evolving period of organisational change.

Joining during a period of change and transformation, this role needs an experienced HR generalist who can hit the ground running, navigate changing priorities and take proactive ownership of their remit.

This is a broad generalist role, with a particular focus on organisational change, consultation and People projects. You’ll:

  • Support and lead on new projects and consultation processes, including picking up activity already in progress.
  • Coach and support managers through change and wider people matters.
  • Take ownership of projects across areas including recruitment, volunteering, policy, processes and service improvement.
  • Provide pragmatic generalist HR and ER support as required, although casework won’t be the main focus.
  • Work with stakeholders to scope requirements, bring ideas and turn these into practical solutions and improvements.

About You

You’ll be an experienced HR generalist with solid exposure to HR projects, and the confidence to work autonomously in a busy, evolving environment.

  • You’ll be proactive, comfortable using your judgement and able to quickly understand what needs to be done and make it happen.
  • Previous third-sector volunteer workforce experience would be helpful, but isn’t essential.
  • There’s plenty happening, but that brings real opportunity to get involved, bring fresh ideas and make a visible impact within a warm, approachable and supportive team.
