HR Generalist

Bristol, UK (Hybrid)

As we continue our transformation journey, we are looking for an experienced and ambitious HR Generalist to join our People Team and play a key role in delivering an exceptional employee experience while helping build the capabilities, culture and talent required for future success.

This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced international environment and wants to make a genuine impact across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will work closely with managers and employees across multiple countries to support recruitment, learning and development, employee engagement, culture initiatives and organisational change.

What You'll Be Doing

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

You will take ownership of the recruitment process for key business-critical positions across the Group, partnering with hiring managers to attract exceptional talent that supports our growth and transformation agenda.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing end-to-end recruitment processes for professional, specialist and management-level roles.
  • Developing talent pipelines for future business needs.
  • Driving competency-based recruitment practices across the organisation.
  • Managing relationships with recruitment partners and agencies.
  • Ensuring a high-quality candidate experience from attraction through onboarding.
  • Supporting workforce planning and succession planning activities.

Learning & Development

You will help create a culture of continuous learning and capability development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the implementation and management of our Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Developing onboarding and induction learning journeys.
  • Coordinating leadership development and management training programmes.
  • Supporting role-specific learning pathways and career development initiatives.
  • Monitoring learning participation and effectiveness.

Culture, Engagement & Employee Experience

You will contribute to creating a positive, high-performing and inclusive workplace culture.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting employee engagement surveys and action planning.
  • Developing internal communication campaigns and employee communications.
  • Assisting with wellbeing, culture and recognition initiatives.
  • Supporting employee feedback programmes and continuous improvement activities.
  • Helping leaders communicate effectively during periods of organisational change.

Organisational Change & Transformation

As the organisation evolves, you will play an important role in supporting employees and managers through change.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting change management and employee adoption initiatives.
  • Assisting with communications and training related to new systems and ways of working.
  • Helping drive workforce capability building aligned to business transformation.
  • Promoting engagement and understanding during organisational change programmes.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • 3-6 years' experience in a generalist HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development or Employee Engagement role.
  • Strong recruitment experience across professional and management-level positions.
  • Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management capability.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • A hands-on approach combined with a commercial mindset.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience recruiting across multiple countries, cultures and time zones.
  • Experience working within an international or matrix organisation.
  • Experience implementing competency-based recruitment methodologies.
  • Experience supporting learning, engagement or organisational development initiatives.
  • Previous exposure to HR transformation projects, HRIS systems or organisational change programmes.
