We're recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading global reinsurance firm based in the City of London, who are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join their established HR team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with 3–5 years' experience gained within a blue-chip, financial services or similarly complex corporate environment. Working closely with senior HR stakeholders, managers and employees, you'll provide high-quality HR support across the employee lifecycle, while contributing to wider HR projects and initiatives within a fast-paced, international organisation.

Location: City of London

Contract: Permanent

Working Pattern: 4 days per week in the office

Salary: £40,000-£50,000

Industry: Global Reinsurance

Key Requirements:

  • 3–5 years' HR Generalist experience, ideally within financial services, professional services or a similarly complex corporate environment
  • Strong knowledge of the UK employee lifecycle and HR best practice
  • Practical experience supporting managers and employees with employee relations matters
  • Experience across onboarding, internal moves, promotions, performance and offboarding
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
  • Experience contributing to HR projects, policies, processes and people initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Commercially aware, pragmatic and solutions-focused
  • Comfortable working within a professional, regulated or international organisation
  • CIPD qualified or working towards a CIPD qualification would be advantageous
