HR Systems Analyst
Location: Plymouth, with hybrid working available
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £35,000 p.a. (DOE)
Delt Shared Services is looking for an experienced HR Systems Analyst to support, configure, and enhance our integrated iTrent HR and Payroll solutions across a wide range of customers.
You'll work with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to deliver system improvements, support upgrades, develop reports and analytics, resolve issues, and ensure the platform remains secure, efficient, and fit for purpose.
About the Role
As our HR Systems Analyst, you'll be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, support, and enhancement of the iTrent HR and Payroll system. You'll provide technical expertise across system administration, upgrades, integrations, reporting, security, testing, and solution design, ensuring the system continues to meet the operational, legislative, and strategic needs of both internal stakeholders and external customers.
You'll play a key role in delivering system improvements, implementing new functionality, supporting customer onboarding, resolving technical issues, and identifying opportunities to streamline processes through automation and innovation.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work across a broad range of activities, including:
- Configuring, maintaining, and enhancing the iTrent HR and Payroll system.
- Supporting and implementing system upgrades, enhancements, legislative changes, and new functionality.
- Developing and maintaining reports, workflows, integrations, and business intelligence solutions.
- Managing system testing and quality assurance activities to ensure successful delivery of change.
- Troubleshooting and resolving escalated system incidents, problems, and service requests.
- Supporting the onboarding of new customers, including data migration, configuration, testing, training, and transition to business-as-usual support.
- Maintaining system security, user access controls, permissions, and data integrity in line with governance and compliance requirements.
- Producing and maintaining user guidance, training materials, and knowledge resources.
- Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality service and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who can combine strong technical capability with excellent customer focus and problem-solving skills.
You'll have:
- Strong HR and Payroll systems expertise, with the confidence to configure, optimise and support business-critical solutions.
- A natural problem solver who enjoys investigating issues, identifying root causes and delivering practical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, and strength at translating complex business requirements into effective system functionality and user-friendly processes.
- Experience managing system enhancements, upgrades and testing activities to ensure successful delivery and adoption.
- A strong eye for detail and data accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
- Confidence working with reports, dashboards, workflows and integrations to improve insight and efficiency.
- A proactive and customer-focused approach, with the ability to manage priorities and deliver against agreed service levels.
- A passion for continuous improvement, using technology, automation and innovation to enhance processes and the user experience.
