We’re working with a well-established organisation looking to add an HRIS Specialist to its HR technology function.
This is a hands-on role focused on the day-to-day ownership, support and continuous improvement of the organisation’s HR systems. You’ll work across HR, Payroll and L&D, helping ensure systems are reliable, data is accurate, and processes are as efficient as possible.
It would suit someone who already has good experience working with HRIS platforms and wants a role where they can take greater ownership of systems, enhancements and HR technology projects.

- Acting as a key point of contact for HRIS queries, troubleshooting system issues and supporting users across HR, Payroll and L&D.
- Configuring and implementing system changes, enhancements, new modules and upgrades.
- Supporting integrations between HR platforms and wider business systems.
- Working with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate these into practical system solutions.
- Supporting HR technology projects through requirements gathering, testing, UAT, implementation and rollout.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
