Job
To provide administrative and coordination support to the HR Team across Porsche Cars Great Britain Ltd (PCGB), Porsche Retail Group Ltd (PRG) and Porsche Financial Services Great Britain Ltd (PFS). The role works closely with the HR Coordinator and wider HR team to deliver an efficient HR service, respond to employee queries and support key people processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
This is a Placement Year position for a candidate currently studying an undergraduate degree at university, seeking a placement for their third year. The role will commence in August 2027.
Responsibilities
HR Administration & Employee Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR Team across all Porsche Group companies in the UK
- Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, responding to routine employee and manager enquiries or escalating where appropriate
- Respond to and resolve allocated HR queries received via the HR team inbox, providing timely and professional responses.
- Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems and databases
- Assist with the administration and coordination of the Group's Health Surveillance Programme, including scheduling assessments, maintaining documentation and supporting employee communications
- Draft routine correspondence, reports and internal HR communications
- Organise HR Team meetings, take notes and maintain accurate records of actions and decisions
- Support HR projects and initiatives as required
Recruitment & Onboarding Support
- Support the administration of recruitment activities across PCGB, PRG and PPFS.
- Support the placement of job advertisements across internal and external recruitment channels.
- Support the coordination of interviews and assessment activities, including arranging candidate communications and scheduling.
- Prepare recruitment documentation and maintain candidate records.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing documentation and coordinating activities
- Conduct pre-employment screening, right to work checks and background vetting processes
- Support the preparation of employment contracts, offer letters and other employee correspondence
- Support new joiner induction activities and orientation programmes.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of Welcome Days and other onboarding events

HR Intern Programme Support
- Support the coordination of the Porsche Intern Programme and intern-related activities
- Help coordinate intern onboarding, offboarding and feedback processes
- Work collaboratively with interns across the business to promote engagement and programme activities
- Participate Company initiatives that raise awareness and funds for the Company's chosen charity partner
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of internship documentation, reports and handbooks
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 A-Levels at Grade B or above
- Studying HR, Business Administration, Psychology or related undergraduate degree
- Ability to work quickly, diligently and efficiently with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Fluent in spoken and written English
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of HR practices and employment law
- Good IT literacy and the ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
- Data management and analytical skills
- Experience of working within a customer service role
- Full Driving License
- Willingness to travel, on occasions, to locations across South-East England to visit our 7 Porsche Retail Group Porsche Centre, Distribution Centre and Porsche Experience Centre

Location
Porsche Cars GB Ltd and Porsche Retail Head Office is located conveniently by junction 12 of the M4, adjacent to a retail park, gym, and well-known fast-food restaurants. It is within walking distance of Theale's main line train station and a bus stop which operate regular services to Reading Town Centre.
