Some companies talk about being people-focused. This one really is!

We’re recruiting for a successful, reputable business where people are valued. There’s an understanding that employees have lives outside of work, and the business genuinely wants people to enjoy being part of the team. They work hard and take pride in what they do so, while HR experience is obviously important, personality matters too.

Why this role?

Because sometimes the environment you work in matters just as much as the job you do. This is a business that has built its culture around trust, support, reliability, and doing the right thing. Where HR isn't simply there to police policies, you'll have the opportunity to support people, develop managers, improve processes, and help shape how the organisation continues to grow.

This isn't a role where you'll simply sit behind a desk processing HR paperwork. You'll be visible, approachable, and involved, getting to know the people and helping managers create a positive environment where people can perform at their best.

Culture fit

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be positive and willing to get stuck in. You'll have a strong work ethic without taking yourself too seriously and be someone employees feel comfortable talking to and managers trust to give them sensible, pragmatic advice. And when the office has one of those days, a sense of humour definitely won't hurt!

This is a broad, hands-on HR Manager position where you’ll be a trusted point of contact for employees and managers offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to influence how the company continues to develop its people practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
