We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team.

Location: Dartford
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role

Valley Provincial is looking for an experienced, hands-on HR Manager to take ownership of the HR function across Valley Provincial and its sister company Playcubed. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is an opportunity to play an important role in the continued development of an established, ambitious, and growing business.

We are looking for someone who can combine professional HR management with practical delivery - equally comfortable advising Directors and managers, handling sensitive employee matters, and developing our people and culture, while being prepared to roll up their sleeves and ensure the everyday HR administration is accurate, compliant, and under control.

This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and based at our main offices in Dartford.

We are offering a competitive salary package depending on experience, fantastic workplace benefits, including a profit-sharing scheme, and the opportunity for personal and professional progression.

Key Responsibilities:

The HR Manager will take responsibility for the full employee lifecycle, including:

  • Providing practical HR advice and support to Directors, managers, and employees.
  • Managing employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, and other sensitive matters.
  • Leading recruitment, onboarding, probation, and retention across the business.
  • Managing staff reviews, performance management, and employee development processes.
  • Coordinating operational employee payroll information and changes, working closely with Finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll administration.
  • Owning and maintaining HR policies, processes, records, and legal compliance.
  • Championing our culture and values and managing employee engagement, including eNPS and ‘Happy Valley’.
  • Coordinating reward, recognition, and employee benefit schemes.
  • Maintaining effective HR systems, administration, reporting, and employee records.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
