HR Manager - UK Remote - £36,000 to £45,000
Are you an experienced HR Generalist ready to take ownership of a complete HR function?
I am working with a fast-growing international business looking for a hands-on HR Manager to join its team. This is a fully remote UK position, reporting directly to the CEO.
This is a standalone role covering the full employee lifecycle across multiple countries and business entities. You do not need years of experience as an HR Manager. The business is equally open to an ambitious HR Generalist with around two to three years of broad experience who is ready to step up, take ownership and develop their career.
The opportunity
You will become the main point of contact for HR across the business, supporting employees and managers while ensuring the day-to-day HR operation runs effectively.
The environment is fast-moving and sometimes complex, so you will need to be adaptable, resilient, and confident finding solutions independently.

- Managing recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews
- Supporting employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle
- Overseeing payroll processes and maintaining accurate employee records
- Handling employee relations matters, including grievances and disciplinaries
- Reviewing and improving contracts, policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
- Supporting compliance with employment legislation across multiple countries
- Maintaining and improving HR systems and reporting
- Monitoring HR data and providing useful insights to the leadership team
- Coordinating employee wellbeing, engagement, and social initiatives
- Supporting learning, development, and employee retention
- Leading internal and external HR audits
- Maintaining compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations
- Managing the HR budget and ensuring resources are used effectively
What we are looking for
- Broad HR experience covering several areas of the employee lifecycle
- The confidence to operate independently within a standalone role
- Experience supporting employee relations cases
- A practical understanding of HR policies, employment law, and compliance
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships remotely
- An organized and solutions-focused approach
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Experience working across multiple countries or legal entities would be highly desirable
- Previous experience using HiBob would be a strong advantage
