Role Description
The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Worcester. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation across the site. The Human Resources Manager will manage recruitment and onboarding processes, support workforce planning, and partner with leaders to build strong, engaged teams. They will ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies, maintain accurate HR records, and lead HR initiatives that support development, wellbeing, and retention. The role also involves coaching managers on people-related matters, handling complex HR issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.

Qualifications

- Experience in core HR management areas, including employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation.
- Proficiency in recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes, with the ability to support workforce planning and staffing needs.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR compliance, and best practices in a multi-site or operational environment.
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Capability in HR data management and reporting, including use of HRIS and basic analytical skills to support decision-making.
- Proven experience managing change, supporting organisational development, and promoting an inclusive, respectful workplace culture.
- Prior experience in logistics, distribution, or a similar fast-paced operational sector is beneficial.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent HR certification, and several years of experience in an HR Manager or senior HR generalist role are preferred.
