Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to support our UK operations. This role will act as a trusted advisor to the local business leadership team, providing end-to-end HR support across talent acquisition, performance management, organisational development, and employee relations. You will play a key role in building and scaling our UK team, aligning local HR practices with our global strategy while ensuring full compliance with UK employment law and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the UK business leadership team to understand business strategy and organisational needs, and provide tailored HR solutions.
  • Support organisational design and optimisation to improve team effectiveness and build capability.
  • Drive talent acquisition strategy and collaborate with the recruitment team to deliver high-quality hires for critical roles.
  • Develop and implement performance management frameworks to align individual goals with business objectives and drive performance outcomes.
  • Lead talent review, succession planning, and key talent development initiatives.
  • Provide employee relations support, enhance employee experience, and foster a positive organisational culture.
  • Ensure all HR practices comply with UK employment law, FCA requirements (where applicable), and internal policies.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in HR Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with prior HRBP experience supporting business units preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Solid hands-on experience in recruitment, performance management, talent development, and organisational development.
  • Experience supporting overseas business or cross-regional teams preferred.
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in fintech, internet, or platform-based companies.
  • Experience supporting international or multicultural teams.
  • Experience in organisational change or business transformation projects.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law, GDPR, and FCA regulations.
  • Mandarin proficiency is a plus but not required.
