HR Manager
Pineapple Recruitment has teamed up with an exceptional business based in Worcester to appoint an ambitious HR Manager. Taking total operational ownership of first-line ER triage, key compliance controls, you’ll be the strategic bridge between advisory excellence and executive leadership.
About the Role:
In this key leadership position, you will lead the first-line HR Advisory service, managing a dedicated team of HR Advisors to deliver a responsive, high-quality service to clients. You will hold operational oversight of employee relations (ER) triage, key compliance frameworks (including Right to Work and DBS), and service performance against SLAs.
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will play a pivotal role in driving process improvements, mitigating risk, and developing HR knowledge content for a modern, digital HR support model.

Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the HR Advisor team, setting clear performance standards and priorities for first-line HR delivery.
- ER Triage & Risk Management: Oversee routine employee relations matters (grievance, conduct, attendance, performance, flexible working) while ensuring complex, high-risk cases are escalated appropriately to HR Business Partners and executive leadership.
- HR Compliance Lead: Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Right to Work (RTW) and DBS compliance, leading regular audits and managing third-party vendor relationships.
- Service Performance & Reporting: Own case-management tracking and report against SLAs/OLAs, using data and feedback to continuously refine service delivery.
- Knowledge & Learning: Lead the creation of practical HR toolkits, guidance, and training for managers, as well as maintaining user-friendly knowledge content for digital and self-service HR tools.

Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager, Senior HR Advisor, or Senior HR Generalist.
- Demonstrable experience leading, coaching, and developing a team of HR Advisors or a first-line HR/ER service.
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and practical ER case management.
- Hands-on expertise in RTW and DBS compliance, audit processes, and risk governance.
- Experience managing HR case-tracking tools, SLA/OLA reporting, and service metrics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with strong commercial awareness.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or higher (or equivalent experience).
