Job Description

Provides support in functional areas of Human Resources at a larger exchange including, but not limited to, recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, training, and equal employment opportunity (EEO). Assists in the development and implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures and dissemination through employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings.

Job Qualifications

  • Five years Human Resources experience in at least six functional areas in Human Resources such as recruitment, employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, training, affirmative action, and equal employment opportunity any of which occurred within the last five years.

Or

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and three years in at least six functional areas in Human Resources such as recruitment, employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, training, affirmative action, and equal employment opportunity any of which occurred within the last five years.

Salary Minimum

$72,064.00

Major Duties

  • Uses knowledge in Human Resources (HR) concepts, practices, laws, regulations, policies, and precedents sufficient to provide advisory and technical services on substantive organizational functions and work practices.
  • Uses various techniques sufficient to identify, evaluate, and recommend Human Resources (HR) interventions to resolve complex interrelated workforce problems and productivity issues for two or more businesses.
  • Employs techniques for developing new or modified Human Resources (HR) work methods, approaches, or procedures for delivering effective Human Resources (HR) services to clients. Prepares reports in conformance with legislative requirements or organizational needs.
  • Uses consensus building, negotiating, coalition building, and conflict resolution techniques sufficient to interact appropriately in highly charged emotional situations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
