A leading logistics and distribution group has an urgent vacancy for an interim Human Resources Manager to join the business on initially a three-month contract. Joining at a time of change and to provide additional support, you will be responsible for supporting organisational objectives, driving employee development initiatives and partnering with the senior leadership team. Candidates are sought with strong employee relations skills and experience working hands on with managers across multiple sites in the Midlands.

The Role
- Develop and implement HR initiatives that align with the organisation’s overall business objectives.
- Partner with the senior leadership team, providing expert guidance and support.
- Provide coaching, training, and advice to managers, promoting best practice and consistency.
- Support managers in attracting, developing, and retaining talent.
- Champion effective communication and collaboration across all departments and teams.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across all levels of the organisation.

The Person
- Proven experience in a senior HR role within a fast-paced environment (manufacturing, logistics, distribution or similar).
- Strong employee relations background is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A hands-on, pragmatic approach with excellent coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Able to travel to sites in the Midlands when required.
