We are looking for a People & Culture Manager
We are seeking a self-motivated, proactive, and passionate People & Culture Manager to join our Truly Talented team at Doubletree by Hilton Manchester Airport.
You will need:
- Previous Human Resources management experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Confidence in influencing senior colleagues and a passion for communicating best People practices.
- A dynamic, bright personality with an intuitive and adaptable approach.
What we offer
- £44,500 per annum, based on experience
- Full-time, permanent, 40 hrs per week.

The role
The People & Culture Manager role will take the lead and provide comprehensive and confidential People & Culture support, contributing to our business goals whilst developing and maintaining positive relationships.
The role provides consistently high standard support, both administrative and non-administrative to the People department, actively driving our goal of becoming an employer of choice.
The role will report to General Manager. Building a strong relationship with the stakeholders, managers, and all colleagues will be essential.
The ideal candidate will have good knowledge and experience in HR, People operations, or in a similar role. Be able to multitask, whilst being an organised, competent, and resourceful individual with a passion for People development.
The ideal candidate must have exceptionally strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organisational skills with a strategic mindset.
This role will be responsible for all aspects of the People & Culture function, including but not limited to:
- Overseeing recruitment, selection, and employee onboarding
- Managing a performance management system/process
- Ensuring the company's procedures comply with local employment laws
- Handling all aspects of employee relations
- Managing employee sick leave, holiday, and personal time off
- Managing monthly payroll, ensuring labour costs are in line with budget
- Managing day-to-day People function effectively and efficiently
- Supporting management in all performance and succession planning
The core skills and experience required to succeed
- Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry with a genuine passion and a creative flair
- Previous experience in HR and Recruitment is required
- Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
- Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
- Can do attitude
- Previous experience within the hospitality or service-based industry would be ideal but not essential
- To be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach
