Job Description
Hours: 24-30 hours per week (3 full days or 4 shorter days)
Parking: Onsite
Hybrid: Onsite
We're partnering with a highly successful, values-led organisation seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their leadership team in a visible and influential role. This is an opportunity to step beyond traditional HR management and become a trusted adviser & commercial partner to operational leaders across a dynamic business unit. Working closely with senior leaders and site management teams, you'll provide pragmatic, commercially focused HR support across a wide range of people matters, including:
- Partnering with leaders on workforce planning, organisational design and talent strategy.
- Coaching and developing managers to build leadership capability.
- Leading on employee relations matters and providing expert HR guidance.
- Supporting succession planning, talent management and employee development initiatives.
- Driving employee engagement, culture and wellbeing programmes.
- Using HR data and business insight to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Contributing to wider people projects and organisational change initiatives.
- Acting as a trusted adviser who can challenge constructively while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

About You
We're looking for an experienced HR professional who can confidently operate in a Business Partner capacity and build credibility at all levels of the organisation.
- Proven HR Business Partnering or Managerial experience within a commercial business.
- Strong employee relations expertise and sound employment law knowledge.
- Experience coaching, influencing and challenging senior stakeholders.
- The ability to balance commercial objectives with people considerations.
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach and sound judgement.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and utilise HR data.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent experience.
- Manufacturing experience would be beneficial but is not essential. More important is your ability to build trust, understand the wider business context and provide commercially relevant HR advice.
