HR Manager

Contract: Permanent
Location: Milton Keynes – Hybrid working 2 days in office.

We're partnering with a growing international technology business looking for an experienced HR professional to become HR Manager for the UK head office. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Senior HR Advisor, HR Business Partner or established HR Manager who enjoys variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a visible impact.

Working closely with leadership teams, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting employees and managers, driving key people initiatives, and ensuring a positive employee experience across the organisation. This is a highly visible position for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and influencing positive change.

What you'll be doing:

As the HR lead for the business, you'll:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on a broad range of HR matters.
  • Manage employee relations activity, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, helping attract and retain top talent.
  • Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, and culture initiatives.
  • Support performance management and talent development activities.
  • Own and develop HR policies, processes, and compliance activities.
  • Manage HR systems, reporting, and workforce data analysis.
  • Support payroll and benefits administration.
  • Lead people-related projects and organisational change initiatives.
  • Develop and support a direct report.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
