We require a Human Resources Officer to support the smooth running and operation of our Human Resources function. Working closely with colleagues and leaders across the hotel, you will play an important role in supporting our associates throughout their employee journey, from recruitment and onboarding through to development and engagement. This is a full time position of 40 hours per week over 5 days.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the day to day operation of the Human Resources department
  • Assist with recruitment, selection, interviews and onboarding of new associates
  • Maintain accurate and up to date employee records and HR systems
  • Support managers and associates with HR queries, policies and procedures
  • Assist with employee relations processes, including absence management, performance management and investigations, in line with company policies and employment legislation
  • Coordinate and support associate training, development and engagement activities
  • Assist with the administration of payroll, benefits, holidays and other employee related processes
  • Support the delivery of associate communications and hotel HR initiatives
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure all HR information is handled professionally and securely
  • Promote a positive working environment and support initiatives that enhance the associate experience

What We’re Looking For

  • A great communicator who is confident engaging with colleagues at all levels
  • An organised and proactive individual with excellent administration skills
  • A positive and approachable personality
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Previous experience within Human Resources and working towards completing their level 3 CIPD
  • Good knowledge of employment practices and HR processes
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast paced environment
  • A genuine passion for supporting people and creating a positive associate experience

You are a people focused HR professional who is always looking for ways to improve the associate experience and support our hotel teams. You will be a trusted and approachable point of contact for our associates and managers, providing guidance, support and a friendly face within the Human Resources department.

You will take pride in delivering a professional and responsive HR service, ensuring that our people feel valued, supported and connected throughout their journey with us. Whether you are welcoming a new associate to the hotel, supporting a manager with an HR query, coordinating training or helping to deliver an associate engagement initiative, your contribution will make a meaningful difference.
