Position Overview
We are seeking a professional HR Generalist to join our engineering company located in the center of Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the administration of recruitment processes, company benefits, payroll, onboarding, and various HR programs and functions, while also supporting general HR and administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up to date HR files, records, and documentation
- Manage Talent Acquisition and recruitment processes across Europe in collaboration with the HR team
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders, post job advertisements, contact candidates, and manage end to end recruitment processes using Greenhouse
- Respond to employee and candidate inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures, escalating complex cases when necessary
- Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of HR files and records
- Perform periodic audits of HR files to ensure compliance and completeness
- Execute payroll processes, including handling employee queries and resolving processing errors
- Act as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers such as health, disability, and pension providers
- Use global HR information systems to manage employee data, prepare offers and contracts, and conduct reference checks
- Coordinate onboarding processes, ensuring new hires receive the necessary information and support
- Assist in planning and executing employee related events and company wide initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education:
A/BS degree with a concentration in HR or Business Administration
Experience:
A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience as an HR Generalist in an international environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast paced, growing company
- Understanding of local labor laws and compliance requirements
- Availability to travel within Europe, if required

Physical Requirements
- Ability to work onsite at least 4 days per week in the Edinburgh office
- Ability to work in a standard office environment and use a computer for extended periods
