Role Description

The Human Resources Officer role is a 35hpw, on-site position based at Lawcris Panel Products Ltd in Leeds. The Human Resources Officer will support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, and maintaining accurate employee records.

  • Absence monitoring
  • Supporting managers
  • End-to-end payroll processing
  • Handling employee relations matters
  • Responding to HR inquiries
  • Contributing to initiatives that promote engagement, wellbeing, and a positive workplace culture

The Human Resources Officer will collaborate closely with leadership to ensure compliance with employment legislation and alignment with company values.

Qualifications

  • Strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, including experience supporting the full employee lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of HR Policies and the ability to implement and maintain compliant HR procedures and documentation.
  • Employee Relations expertise, including supporting conflict resolution, performance issues, and employee wellbeing.
  • Experience in HR administration, HR systems, and handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Good knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (e.g., CIPD certification or equivalent).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and best practices in diversity, equity, and inclusion is highly beneficial.
