HR Operations Manager
Birmingham
Up to £65,000 plus package
We're partnering on a confidential search for an experienced HR Operations Team Leader to join a well-established international organisation at an exciting point in its HR transformation journey.
This is an opportunity to lead a high-performing HR Operations team while playing a central role in the evolution of the HR service model. You'll combine people leadership with operational excellence, helping to deliver a modern, efficient and customer-focused employee experience while supporting the implementation of a new HR operating model and HR technology platform.
- Lead, coach and develop a busy HR operations team, creating a culture of service excellence.
- Oversee core HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, HR systems, benefits administration, learning administration and employee queries.
- Monitor service delivery against SLAs and KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve performance and customer experience.
- Play a key role in a significant HR transformation programme, supporting the rollout and optimisation of a new HR technology platform.
- Drive process improvement, standardisation and automation across HR Operations.
- Ensure robust governance, data integrity and compliance across all HR processes.
- Act as the escalation point for complex employee queries and operational issues.

You will lead a team responsible for delivering high-quality HR operational services across the entire employee lifecycle. Alongside ensuring exceptional day-to-day service delivery, you'll help shape future processes, embed new ways of working and drive continuous improvement across the function.

Requirements:
- Experience leading an HR Operations or Shared Services team ideally within a Financial Services environment
- A strong understanding of HR processes across the full employee lifecycle.
- Previous involvement in HR systems implementation or optimisation projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience driving service improvements, process optimisation and operational excellence.
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to coach, influence and develop others.
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent) would be advantageous.
