About the Role
TST Group is on a growth path, and we're looking for someone to make sure the right people hear about it. This role is part recruiter, part storyteller, part culture champion - you'll sit right at the crossroads of talent attraction, employer branding, and internal engagement.
You won't just fill vacancies. You'll go looking for great people before we even need them, tell the real story of what it's like to work at TST Group, and make sure the people already here feel seen, valued, and excited to stay.
In short: your mission is to make TST Group a place people actively want to join and don't want to leave.
What you'll be doing
Sourcing & Recruitment
- Actively hunt for talent across frontline, technical, skilled, and professional roles not just posting and waiting
- Use LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social platforms, referrals and networks to build a strong pipeline
- Build talent pools for critical or hard-to-fill roles ahead of time
- Write adverts and campaigns that actually sell the job and the company
- Build relationships with passive candidates who aren't actively looking
- Partner with hiring managers on what "great" looks like, and keep the candidate journey smooth from application to first day
- Keep an eye on the numbers source, conversion, time-to-hire to focus effort where it counts

- Work with Marketing to turn the careers site into a genuine showcase of life at TST Group
- Keep content fresh and discoverable (search, job boards, AI-driven candidate search)
- Use employee stories, videos, and "day in the life" content to show what roles are really like
- Highlight the full range of careers, from entry-level to skilled, professional, and leadership paths
- Make sure candidates can quickly answer: Why TST? What's it really like here? Where could this take me?
Employer Brand & Content
- Help define and bring TST Group's Employer Value Proposition to life
- Spot the stories happening across the business and turn them into content worth sharing
- Create short-form video and social content: day-in-the-life features, team spotlights, driver stories, site tours, event coverage and more
- Know when to invest in polished production versus a quick, authentic phone-shot clip
- Keep employer branding consistent with Marketing across every candidate touchpoint

Culture, Engagement & Internal Comms
- Build an internal newsletter people actually want to read
- Celebrate milestones, promotions, new starters and team wins
- Support engagement campaigns, recognition initiatives and events
- Listen for themes in employee feedback and help turn them into real action with HR and leadership
Representing TST Group
- Be a visible face of TST Group at careers fairs, schools, colleges, apprenticeship events and industry gatherings
- Build relationships with education providers and community partners to bring new talent into transport and logistics
