HR Project Manager

Warrington (hybrid)
12-18 month FTC
c£50,000 - £56,000

About the role

This organisation is entering a significant period of growth and transformation, and they are now seeking an experienced HR Projects specialist to drive forward complex, high-impact change initiatives. This is a specialist position, not a generalist one, suited to someone who is genuinely energised by the delivery side of HR and skilled at turning strategic intent into well-structured, well-governed outcomes.

If you're an HR Project Manager with a strong track record of leading people-related change within unionised settings, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own and deliver the HR elements of wider business change initiatives, from initial scoping through to successful completion
  • Lead on TUPE transfers, organisational restructures, and changes to working arrangements and practices
  • Work closely with specialist HR functions to ensure smooth, joined-up implementation
  • Lead formal consultation processes and maintain strong working relationships with trade union representatives and wider stakeholders
  • Ensure all activity remains compliant with employment legislation and internal policy at every stage
  • Serve as a go-to expert, offering sound guidance on complex or sensitive HR issues

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
