Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Human Resources Recruiter. The Human Resources Recruiter will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting job postings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring decisions with internal stakeholders.

  • Building and maintaining talent pipelines for rail and construction positions
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to understand workforce needs
  • Ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Maintaining accurate records in applicant tracking systems
  • Supporting onboarding activities
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant employment regulations and company policies

Additional Requirements:

  • Ongoing communication with candidates and clients
  • Reporting on recruitment metrics
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of recruitment practices

Qualifications

  • Experience in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with candidates, hiring managers, and clients.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple vacancies, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, HR databases, and basic digital tools (e.g., MS Office, video interview platforms).
  • Knowledge of UK employment practices; experience in rail, construction, or industrial sectors is an advantage.
  • Attention to detail, confidentiality in handling sensitive information, and a commitment to fair and inclusive hiring practices.
  • Relevant education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; professional HR or recruitment certifications are beneficial.
