About the role
The Recruitment Officer plays a key role in attracting, selecting and appointing talented individuals who will contribute to the success of School of Business & Management London ltd. The postholder will manage end-to-end recruitment activities, ensuring a positive candidate experience while maintaining compliance with employment legislation, safer recruitment requirements and organisational policies. Working closely with key internal stakeholders, the Recruitment Officer will support workforce planning and help ensure vacancies are filled efficiently with high-quality candidates who share the organisation's values and commitment to educational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment job posting to offer stage.
- Assist in posting job openings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and supporting new employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Build strong relationships with candidates, keeping them informed and engaged throughout the process.
- Use data and insights to refine recruitment strategies and improve outcomes.
- Serve as a point of contact for general recruitment enquiries
- Help coordinate training sessions, track employee training completion and certifications, and assist in developing onboarding materials.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the recruitment processes and ways of working
- Work closely with the HR team and Heads of Department to manage recruitment campaigns, provide updates and ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.

Role Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as human resources, business administration, education, or a related discipline. A master’s degree is desirable.
- Minimum 2 years experience as an in-house recruiter or working within a recruitment environment.
- Ability to work independently whilst managing multiple vacancies and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using job-boards and recruitment platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with faculty, staff, senior management, and external stakeholders.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple responsibilities, maintaining accurate records, and meeting deadlines. Strong time management and prioritisation abilities are crucial.
- Ability to build positive relationships with candidates and hiring managers, delivering an excellent recruitment experience throughout the process.

What we Offer
- Salary range is £27,000-£30,000.
