We have an exciting opportunity for an intern to join our HR Services (Human Resources Services) team. The role will get involved with the majority of the HR Services scope of work, supporting employees from hire through to retire. Serving a part of the HRS team, you will serve as the initial point of contact for employees, interacting with them daily, assisting with a multitude of general HR needs. The role also includes project work and continuous improvement efforts, and alongside the first-level HR support provided to employees, will introduce you to the Boeing UK business as well as provide a great overview of the HR Services function.

  • To deliver HR Services and first level HR support to employees, managers, and the HR community.
  • Respond to employee queries on HR policies & processes for the UK & Republic of Ireland.
  • Collaborate with HR cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective execution of HR services.
  • Support regional continuous improvement efforts and projects.
  • Business Travel to UK sites required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Right to work in UK - we do not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
  • Holds a UK driving license (ability to travel to sites nationwide is a must, especially during the university careers fairs season, during which there may be a requirement to stay away overnight).

Desired Skills:

  • Studying a degree course (any subject accepted)
  • Team-oriented, adaptable and solution-focused
  • Possess a passion for the Aerospace sector
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to discuss ideas and concepts with stakeholders of all levels
  • Resilience and the ability to think on your feet
