People Services Team Leader, Greater Manchester, Permanent, c£60,000 + Excellent Benefits
Our client is a well-established international organisation currently undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation. As part of this journey, they are investing in their people function and are now looking to appoint an experienced People Services Team Leader to help shape and enhance their HR service delivery.
Reporting into the Head of HR, this role will lead the development of an effective HR Shared Services function. You will be responsible for driving process improvements, embedding consistent ways of working, and enhancing the employee experience across the full employee lifecycle. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will champion best practice, promote the value of a shared services model, and lead, coach and develop a small HR team (headcount of 2) to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of an effective HR Shared Services function
- Drive process improvements and embed consistent ways of working
- Enhance the employee experience across the full employee lifecycle
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business
- Champion best practice and promote the value of a shared services model
- Lead, coach, and develop a small HR team
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experienced HR Shared Services professional
- Strong understanding of HR operations and service delivery within a fast-paced commercial environment (e.g., retail or manufacturing)
- Ideally, experience of using Workday
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Confident influencing at all levels
- Proven track record of leading change, improving processes, and developing high-performing teams
- Collaborative and proactive approach
- Passion for continuous improvement
