A busy, well-established Professional Services business is looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join the team on a temporary basis. This is a hands-on cover role supporting a large workforce across multiple sites in the region, with the successful candidate stepping in to support the day-to-day HR operations on a short term basis.

The Role

This is a five to six week temporary placement starting at the end of August, ideal for an experienced HR professional who can hit the ground running. You will lead and manage a broad range of HR issues including employee relations matters, and provide hands-on support across the business. The role also involves supporting the rollout of a new HR system so familiarity with system implementation and user change management would be a real advantage. This role would suit someone confident working independently, comfortable with a varied workload, and used to supporting a large number of employees across multiple locations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
