What You'll Be Doing
As a Humanities Teacher, You'll
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
- Inspire students through creative, interactive, and inclusive teaching
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the curriculum
- Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and independent learning
- Create a positive, supportive classroom environment where every learner can succeed
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to help students achieve their potential
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and deliver outstanding learning experiences
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive behaviour at all times
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent)
- Has experience teaching Humanities within a secondary school setting
- Can teach one or more Humanities subjects confidently
- Has excellent classroom management skills
- Brings energy, enthusiasm, and creativity into every lesson
- Is passionate about helping young people succeed
- Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice
- Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is happy to apply for one)
- Is registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or willing to register
