Provide Offshore technical support at OFCS locations for the following activities:

• Termination of IAC cables to Pfisterer Connex Connectors.
• Insertion/De-insertion of Pfisterer Connex connectors into the Pfisterer Connex Joints.
• Termination of IAC FO cables to the fibre optic cabinet, including all required glanding and earthing.
• Installation of earthing wires to connect Connex connectors and IAC cables using provided Earthing Kit.
• Perform continuity/bonding checks post earthing assembly.
• Installation of tagging as required.
• Pouring of hang-off resin if requested by the Contractor
• Provision of all required test equipment and testing accessories.
• Provision of work platforms (permanent scaffold) for access to work area and jointing habitat.

Perform IAC Offshore testing post hook-up:

• Phase Verification Test
• Function test of bonding/earthing

Installation of HV Jumper Cables if required.

• Provision of sufficient installation consumables.
• Provision of Photographic Records for work performed
• Completion of Test Records for Approval.
• Provision of PPE requirements as per Section 4.1.4.
• Assist Contractor representative as required with activities associated with IAC Cables

Further Offshore general requirements and responsibilities:

• Prepare locations for works, including but not limited to handovers, checking of oxygen and explosive gas levels, setup of equipment and lighting, generator setup, ensuring food supplies are secured, setup of tent for rain protection, etc.
• Upon instruction of the Offshore Management team the T&T teams Shall assist/perform stripping and routing operations on TP and OFCS. As a base case the pull-in teams perform the stripping and routing, there might however a scenario that the T&T have to do this as well.
• Clean-up of the Work site after completion of the Works. Clean workplace has to be maintained at all times.
• Dispose all related waste items from site on completion of works as per local requirements and national regulatory environmental requirements.
• Provide input for the Contractor’s reporting in pre-determined format (paper or tablet-based reporting) including, but not limited to, a daily progress report (DPR)and partaking in the required review workflows offshore for quality assurance.
• Document the Installation and Testing as per the ITPs and Test sheets provided by the Contractor, provide the required test data and report files obtained from the test equipment. Take photographs as required to be inserted to the reports.
• Track usage of materials and report to storekeeper.
• Keep test equipment and tools in a worthy condition and report any damages or malfunctions to the storekeeper without delay.
• Ensure all work areas are always protected against coating damage or other damages using rubber matting, covers, etc.
• Identification and recording of installation snags and defects either via a punch list or for major discrepancies via Contractor approved quality system; rectification of any defects as required.
• Report any damages to the vessel without delay to ensure efficient rectification measures.
• Report any cable damages to the vessel without delay; repair cable damages as per the procedures and as agreed with Contractor representatives and Employer’s representatives.
• Continuously report progress via radio to the ISV.
• Keep in mind and follow Contractor HSE-Procedures in any kind of works to be executed.
• Subcontractor Shall adhere to Contractor’s ITP and Shall sign off on relevant sections as necessary.
• Attendance and participation in project HIRAs if requested

Medical certification / vaccinations

Minimum HSE requirements:

• Valid medical certificate: AWMF, NOGEPA, UKOOA or OLF

• Sufficient English language skills (550 score more in TOEIC test or any other)

• GWO Standard Manual Handling

• GWO Standard First Aid

• GWO Enhanced First Aid

• GWO Standard Fire Awareness

• GWO Standard Sea Survival

• GWO Standard Working at Height

• GWO Advance Rescue

• GWO Slinger Signaller (SLS)

• Valid Passport (and visa if applicable)

• PASMA platform training
