Job Description

Our Client is an Industry leader within the HVAC element of the residential & light commercial construction sectors. They now need to identify a senior leader with significant experience of working within a commercial, sales, business development or operational environment.

Candidates must come from the HVAC sector.

The successful candidate will actually lead 3 aligned businesses within a Group of Companies that specialise in indoor climate solutions. Therefore, applicants with experience of working within a similar structure and can demonstrate successful cross-business lead sharing to increase the share of wallet will be looked at favourably. The Commercial Director will set direction, pace and performance expectations for the various sales teams across all three businesses, while building the shared reporting, forecasting & account management systems needed to run them as a connected commercial function.

It is imperative that candidates are well versed in the different routes to market within this sector, including Distribution, Housebuilders, M&E Consultants and Contractors.

Additional Competencies

  • Demonstrable success in negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts and partnerships.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, & Profit and Loss responsibility.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders, executive leadership teams, and external partners.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and financial principles.
  • Knowledge of market analysis, competitor assessment, and business growth strategies.
  • Understanding of pricing models, contract management, and commercial risk.
  • Awareness of customer acquisition, retention, and customer experience strategies.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and compliance obligations

This is a remote role, working from home and therefore candidates can be based anywhere in the UK. The salary on offer is up to £110,000 with an annual bonus of up to 40%. Private Healthcare, Company Pension and car allowance of £8,400 are also included with the role.
