Our client is a growing compliance and building services specialist delivering HVAC commissioning, water hygiene, air hygiene and mechanical services across the UK. Working across data centres, healthcare facilities, pharmaceutical environments, commercial developments and other mission-critical projects, they have built a reputation for technical excellence, quality delivery and investing in their people.
Role Summary
An excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC Commissioning Engineer to join a growing team delivering projects nationwide. You'll be responsible for commissioning HVAC and mechanical systems, ensuring installations operate safely, efficiently and in line with project specifications through to final handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver HVAC commissioning activities from pre-commissioning through to handover.
- Commission AHUs, FCUs, chillers, boilers, pumps, ventilation systems and heat recovery units.
- Conduct inspections, testing and performance validation of HVAC systems.
- Review drawings, specifications, P&IDs and control philosophies.
- Commission Building Management Systems (BMS) and associated controls.
- Liaise with TAB specialists to verify system performance.
- Produce commissioning plans, method statements, test sheets and final reports.
- Support fault finding, troubleshooting and system optimisation.
- Work alongside air hygiene, water treatment and environmental control specialists where required.
- Ensure compliance with project, industry and health & safety standards.

Key Requirements
Essential
- HVAC commissioning experience.
- Strong understanding of chilled water, heating water, ventilation, air conditioning and hydronic systems.
- Experience commissioning BMS and controls.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, schematics and P&IDs.
- CSA Grade 3 or equivalent.
- CSCS/ECS Card.
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable
- Experience within data centres, healthcare, pharmaceutical, industrial or commercial environments.
- Experience working within cleanrooms or mission-critical facilities.
- Knowledge of water treatment systems and closed-system water quality.

Location & Work Pattern
- Home based with nationwide travel.
- Head office located in the West Midlands.
- Full-time permanent position.
- Regular travel and occasional overnight stays may be required.
