What you'll be doing
Responsibilities
As an HVAC Fitter, you'll play a key role in ensuring the successful installation of ductwork systems that support efficient and reliable building services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing rectangular, circular and spiral ductwork to project specifications.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics and construction plans.
- Measuring, cutting and modifying ductwork to achieve precise installation standards.
- Sealing ducting systems to ensure maximum efficiency and performance.
- Installing supports, brackets, hangers and framing systems.
- Working closely with fellow trades and site teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Inspecting completed installations to ensure quality, alignment and airtightness.
- Maintaining tools and equipment to the highest standards.
- Upholding all health, safety and site procedures.
- Supporting and mentoring apprentices and junior team members where required.
Who we're looking for
We're Keen To Hear From Individuals Who Have
- Proven experience fitting ductwork within commercial or industrial environments.
- Level 3 HVAC qualification.
- Strong ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings and schematics.
- Excellent knowledge of air distribution systems and ductwork installation techniques.
- Experience using hand and power tools associated with HVAC installations.
- Valid CSCS card (or equivalent construction site safety accreditation).
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices, including working at height and within confined spaces.
- Ability to obtain BPSS Security Clearance.
