Job Details

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a HVAC Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for a HVAC Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market-leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long-term career progression.

As the HVAC Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, ensuring that SHE standards are maintained and liaising with engineers and subcontractors, with a proactive approach to client liaison.
  • Ensure compliance with and enforcement of existing business risk management procedures for maintenance and project works, completing all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
  • Investigate and report in detail on infrastructure shortfalls, problems, and incidents, recommending options for remedial actions.
  • Comply with company and statutory regulations relating to safe systems of work, health and safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and localized fire regulation procedures, including participation in weekend working, shift rota patterns, and out-of-hours call-out functions.

To be successful for this HVAC Engineer role you must have:

  • Possess one of the following: Apprenticeship or equivalent, IOSH or equivalent, C&G/BTEC Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Engineering
  • Previous relevant experience in providing electrical maintenance services in a large, complex environment.
  • Basic to intermediate IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with experience in updating records
