Static HVAC Engineer

Location: Kettering

Salary: GBP 42,000 per annum + Overtime

Hours: Monday to Friday Early Shift (07:00 to 15:00 or 07:30 to 15:30) 40 hrs/week

On-Call: Fully Optional Rota (GBP 190/week standby allowance)

We are seeking a skilled Static HVAC Engineer to oversee site HVAC operations, conduct fault-finding, and ensure statutory compliance for a key facility in Kettering. Enjoy a great work-life balance with early weekday finishes and a completely optional on-call rota.

Key Responsibilities

  • PPMs and Reactive Maintenance: Carry out planned maintenance and handle breakdowns across HVAC and associated plant.
  • Fault-Finding and BMS: Diagnose VRV/VRF system issues and monitor BMS controls to manage site temperature and humidity.
  • Compliance and CAFM: Use mobile CAFM systems to manage work orders and track statutory compliance.
  • Site Support: Supervise contractors and assist with minor electrical and building fabric tasks.

Requirements

  • Valid F-Gas Certification (City and Guilds 2079 / Cat 1).
  • NVQ Level 2/3 or recognized apprenticeship in Mechanical/HVAC/Electrical.
  • Strong background in VRV/VRF fault-finding and plant maintenance.
  • Familiarity with CAFM systems and BMS monitoring.
