HVAC Engineer (Commercial Gas & Air Conditioning) Leeds

CBW Staffing Solutions are recruiting for an experienced HVAC Engineer to join a leading facilities management company delivering maintenance services across a portfolio of commercial properties across the Yorkshire region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing a wide range of HVAC equipment, with a strong emphasis on both commercial gas and air conditioning systems. You'll be working across a varied portfolio including commercial offices, student accommodation, retail sites and other commercial environments.
Package
- Competitive salary between £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Company van & fuel card supplied
- Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on HVAC and mechanical plant
- Service, maintain and repair commercial gas appliances and heating systems
- Diagnose and repair faults on split systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs, FCUs and ventilation equipment
- Complete reactive maintenance and emergency breakdown call-outs
- Carry out compliance checks and ensure all work is completed to current regulations.
- Produce accurate job reports using a CAFM system
- Identify remedial works and provide recommendations to improve asset performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers on site
- Participate in the on-call rota

Requirements
- ACS Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or equivalent)
- F-Gas Category 1 Certification
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Previous experience working within Facilities Management or Building Services
- Experience maintaining commercial HVAC plant
- Full UK Driving Licence
