HVAC Engineer (Door to Door Pay)

Southampton
£50,000 - £60,000 (OTE £70,000) + Training + Progression + Company Van + Door to Door + On Call + Overtime + Private Medical Insurance

Are you a Refrigeration or HVAC Engineer looking to step into a role with a global provider of Mobile Medical equipment and cabins being their go-to Engineer in their new office while offering door to door pay and extensive overtime to boost your income surplus of £70,000?

This family-owned company founded over 70 years ago has provided high-quality mobile, hybrid, and relocatable medical accommodations. Following their continued growth, they have opened a new branch in the South of England and are looking for a Refrigeration Engineer to join their new apprentice.

In this role you will service, maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in mobile medical units. Your patch will mainly cover the South within a 4-hour radius of Southampton but minimal nationwide work and stayaways should be expected. You will be working on AC Systems, cold water chillers and fridge systems which is scheduled 2 weeks in advance however there is an element of reactive maintenance.

This role would a commercial or medical Refrigeration Engineer holding their F-gas looking to step into a role offering extensive overtime and real progression to Lead Engineer.

The Role:

  • Maintain, Service and Repair HVAC and Refrigeration Systems
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday (8am-5pm) with extensive overtime (1.5x pay, 2x pay Sundays)
  • On call rota (1 in every 4, £200 per week, 1.5x pay for call out)
  • Field based mainly in the South but can be Nationwide

The Person:

  • Refrigeration or HVAC Engineer
  • F-Gas Certificate or NVQ lvl 2 in Refrigeration and AC or HVAC
  • Willing to commute to sites nationwide
