HVAC Maintenance Engineer

Glasgow

Salary: 42,000 – 45,000 + Company Van

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Position Type: Permanent Static Site

About The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HVAC Maintenance Engineer to join an established engineering team on a prestigious static site in Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong HVAC background and F–Gas certification who is looking for a stable, long–term role with an excellent work–life balance. Working Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of a variety of HVAC and mechanical building services systems across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on HVAC and mechanical plant.
  • Service, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and associated equipment.
  • Fault–find and diagnose issues on HVAC systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Maintain AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, valves, and ventilation systems.
  • Complete routine inspections, testing, and statutory compliance checks.
  • Support wider building services maintenance activities where required.
  • Accurately complete maintenance records and update CAFM systems.
  • Liaise with contractors, colleagues, and site stakeholders to ensure high service standards.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures and industry regulations.

Candidate Requirements

  • F–Gas Certification (Essential)
  • Recognised HVAC, Mechanical, Air Conditioning, or Building Services qualification.
  • Previous experience in a HVAC Maintenance Engineer, Air Conditioning Engineer, or Building Services Engineer role.
  • Strong fault–finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience maintaining AHUs, FCUs, air conditioning systems, pumps, motors, and associated plant.
  • Good understanding of compliance and safe working practices.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
