About The Role

Are you looking to start or grow your career in construction and mechanical services? Do you enjoy being hands-on, working as part of a team, and contributing to major infrastructure projects?
We're looking for a motivated HVAC Mate to join our team and play an important role supporting the installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems on a large-scale project. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience alongside skilled HVAC professionals while developing your knowledge and skills in a fast-paced construction environment.
What you'll be doing
As an HVAC Mate, you'll work closely with experienced tradespeople, helping to deliver high-quality HVAC installations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Assisting with the installation of ductwork, ventilation systems and associated equipment
- Preparing materials, including measuring, cutting and assembling components
- Moving and handling tools, materials and equipment safely across site
- Supporting the positioning and securing of ductwork and mechanical systems
- Following drawings, instructions and guidance from supervisors and skilled trades
- Maintaining tools and equipment to ensure they are safe and ready for use
Who we're looking for
Essential
- CSCS Card (or equivalent)
- Experience working within a construction or site-based environment
- Basic understanding of mechanical or HVAC installation activities
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable
- Experience supporting HVAC or mechanical installation teams
- Manual handling training
- Experience working on major infrastructure, energy or industrial projects
