HVAC Supervisor

Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Location: Coventry, Warwickshire, England, CV2 2DX

We're looking for a HVAC Supervisor who is highly motivated and driven by social responsibility to achieve the highest levels of delivery in a healthcare environment, undertaking complex and/or non-routine mechanical activities and ensuring statutory, mandatory and routine compliance at all times.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure service delivery provides and maintains statutory, mandatory and routine compliance at all times and this compliance can always be readily evidenced.
  • Ensure contractual compliance with the PFI contract terms and conditions, making sure all contractual elements of the service delivery are consistently provided, whilst also achieving the commercial aspirations of Mitie and the client - the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).
  • To undertake correctly and to a high standard the work associated with PPM (Pre Planned Maintenance) and Reactive Maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure assets work properly, are maintained in accordance with the contract, relevant Health Technical Memoranda (HTM), Health Building Memoranda (HBM), Operation and Maintenance Manuals (O&M), and Manufacturer's Instructions; and maintained in a good state of repair, evidenced by accurate and complete equipment repair and maintenance CAFM records.
  • Challenge and promote safe working ensure Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) compliance is at the forefront of what is delivered as evidenced by application of Mitie's LiveSafe procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

  • NVQ level 2 refrigeration / Air conditioning and Knowledge of Air handling units.
  • HTM Qualifications / understanding preferable.
  • Completion of a structured training programme in refrigeration and air conditioning and ventilation for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Excellent people and communication skills with the ability to express your thoughts clearly, whether written or spoken.
  • Evidence of working within acute health care premises would be advantageous (but not essential).
