About The Role
Lead the Delivery of Critical HVAC Systems on a Major Nuclear Project
Are you an experienced HVAC Ductwork Supervisor looking to play a vital role on one of the UK's most complex and high-profile construction projects?
We're seeking a driven, safety-focused HVAC Supervisor to lead ductwork installation activities across the Sellafield programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world-class project, supervise skilled teams, and contribute to the successful delivery of essential ventilation systems in a highly regulated environment.
Working at the heart of the construction team, you'll provide hands-on leadership, drive productivity, and ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
What you'll be doing
As HVAC Supervisor, you'll be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all ductwork installation activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety requirements and programme targets.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Leading by example and promoting a strong health, safety and environmental culture.
- Supervising the installation of HVAC ductwork systems in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and procedures.
- Coordinating the installation of rectangular, circular, fire-rated and specialist ductwork systems.
- Ensuring supports, brackets, hangers, dampers, access doors and associated components are installed correctly.
- Monitoring workmanship, productivity and quality standards across the workforce.
- Allocating daily work activities and ensuring resources are aligned with programme requirements.
- Supporting short-term planning and coordinating labour, materials, lifting activities and access equipment.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with nuclear industry and client quality standards.
- Providing leadership, guidance and mentorship to ductwork operatives, chargehands, apprentices and supporting trades.

Who we're looking for
We're looking for a proactive supervisor with strong technical knowledge and proven experience of leading HVAC ductwork installation teams in demanding construction environments.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Ductwork Fitter or HVAC Supervisor within commercial, industrial or major project environments.
- Level 3 qualification in HVAC.
- Strong understanding of HVAC ductwork systems, including rectangular, spiral and fire-rated installations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and coordinate installation activities effectively.
- Demonstrable leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage site teams.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and safe systems of work.
- CSCS card (or equivalent construction safety certification).
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme).
- First Aid at Work qualification.
