Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Dependant upon Experience
Full time: 37½ hours per week, Hybrid role.


Role Description

To interpret and design heating solutions for HVAC applications. The ability to provide technical support together with a strong commercial profile. A solid customer focus is important with the ability to problem solve and develop flexible cost-effective solutions. This hybrid full-time role is based in Brierley Hill.


What You'll be doing

  • Design commercial heating solutions in accordance with the data provided either by the Contractor, Consultant, End User, or Key Account Manager. The specification provided may encompass a computer aided design in addition to a detailed written specification and heat loss calculation.
  • A site survey may be required to qualify the information received before the heating design can be produced.
  • Create customer quotes.
  • Provide technical assistance to both external and internal customers regarding methods of product operation, application, and individual part guidance.
  • Undertake a proactive sales role, answering telephone calls, responding to all forms of correspondence.
  • Under the guidance of the Commercial Operations Manager, progress specific heating quotations with an aim of converting into orders.
  • Highlighting potential order problems with the wider team.
  • Liaison with the inside sales team to pass on potential leads and dealing with general administrative & sales opportunities.
  • Participate in both departmental and company training schemes.
  • Generally, support the wider Customer Service Team and undertake such duties deemed necessary by the Commercial Operations Manager as may be necessary from time to time.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience working in a Technical/Sales Design role, within the HVAC and/or Humidification industry would be preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • An effective negotiator and problem solver with the ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise workload.
  • A working knowledge of AutoCAD, quoting tools in a CRM system and Microsoft software including excel & word.
