About the Job

As a Manager in the Post Trade Practice, you will play a key role in building and shaping the practice while managing and delivering client projects across the Capital Markets domain. Reporting directly to senior management, you will be responsible for leading high-quality client engagements, supporting business growth initiatives, and developing the capabilities of the practice and its people.

The role involves working closely with clients to enhance capital markets processes, systems, controls, and operating models; optimize responses to regulatory requirements and market change; and deliver practical, client-focused transformation solutions.

Hybrid Working

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role

Delivery & Project Management

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of client projects, actively contributing to project execution and solution development.
  • Analyze, design, and implement solutions aligned to client requirements and business objectives.
  • Engage with clients throughout solution development and proposal finalization phases.
  • Communicate client challenges, risks, and proposed solutions in a manner that reflects Capgemini's position as a leading consulting organization.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate delivery risks and concerns, ensuring timely resolution and successful outcomes.
  • Support transformation initiatives across operations, technology, regulatory compliance, and post-trade processes.

Business Development & Growth

  • Support sales and business development activities by designing solution approaches for client opportunities and practice campaigns.
  • Develop and contribute to client proposals, presentations, and supporting documentation.
  • Contribute to the practice sales pipeline by identifying opportunities arising from regulatory and market-driven change.
  • Conduct horizon scanning and industry analysis to identify emerging trends and business opportunities.
  • Support campaign development and market positioning initiatives across the practice.

Practice Development & Leadership

  • Assist in attracting and recruiting top talent across all experience levels.
  • Foster collaboration across teams and practices to maximize internal capabilities and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in continuous learning, professional development, and team-building initiatives.
  • Mentor and coach junior consultants and analysts, providing guidance and support for career development.
  • Serve as a role model within the practice by promoting collaboration, inclusion, and professional excellence.
  • Potentially act as a Performance Manager and Functional Manager for team members.
  • Oversee and support the development of junior consultants and direct reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and internal initiatives that drive business growth and practice maturity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
