Hybrid Field Sales Team Leader
Job Location: Cumbria
Terms: Permanent (hybrid role – blend of field sales agent alongside team leader/coach)
The Job
We’re looking for a Hybrid Field Sales Team Leader to support leading a dedicated team of Field Sales Representatives while also driving your own personal sales performance.
In this dynamic 50/50 role, you will combine hands-on leadership with active field sales, ensuring you lead by example. You’ll confidently communicate company goals, expectations, and deadlines.
You’ll be a natural motivator and coach, empowering your team to exceed targets through regular feedback, performance coaching, and skill development. Alongside this, you’ll work closely with the sales GB Manager to deliver training, analyse performance data, and provide insights that drive continuous improvement.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Support GB Sales Manager with performance management of the team
- Manage the Sales Team to deliver their sales targets
- Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks
- Assists management with new team member training
- Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance
- Communicates deadlines and sales goals to team members
- Conducts on the job observations & field based coaching sessions to update members on best practices and continuing expectations
- Assist in hosting daily sales briefings to inspire and drive performance within the sales team
- Ensures company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards
- Provides quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints
- Achieve on individual targets as set out by the company.

Essential Experience
- Demonstrable proven experience in achieving sales targets
- Proficiency in MS Office & PSI software
- Good written and communication skills
- Good understanding of management practices & techniques
- Good leadership & interpersonal skills

- Can work under pressure and to deadlines
- Highly creative, with excellent attention to detail
- Common sense approach
- Can establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
