Hybrid Product Owner / Business Analyst - Insurance
Insurance experience is essential for this opportunity, with a chance to move into London Market Insurance
We're partnering with a leading global insurance company to recruit a Hybrid Product Owner / Business Analyst to support the continued development of customer-facing digital platforms and core insurance systems.
This role sits within a growing Product team and offers the opportunity to work across digital portal initiatives, policy administration platforms and insurance workflow transformation projects. We're looking for someone who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders, brokers, developers and delivery teams, combining strong business analysis skills with product ownership responsibilities.
What you'll be doing
- Working closely with brokers and business stakeholders to understand business needs and challenges
- Gathering, analysing and documenting requirements
- Creating user stories, acceptance criteria and process flows
- Managing and prioritising product backlogs
- Supporting Agile delivery teams throughout the development lifecycle
- Acting as the link between business users and development partners
- Identifying opportunities to improve customer and broker journeys through technology
- Supporting the delivery of strategic digital transformation initiatives

What we're looking for
✅ Insurance industry experience (essential)
✅ Experience working as a:
- Product Owner
- Hybrid Product Owner / Business Analyst
✅ Experience working within Agile / Scrum environments
✅ Ability to write detailed requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
✅ Experience working with insurance platforms, policy administration systems, broking systems or customer portals
Desirable
We're particularly interested in individuals who have:
- Experience with policy administration systems, broking platforms, client portals or digital insurance products would be highly advantageous.
