Xerogrid Renewable Energy Role
Xerogrid is an established renewable energy distributor and installer based in Yorkshire, expanding into distributed energy resource storage and energy trading. We're a Victron Energy and SAJ distributor, alongside Fronius and Pylontech, working with both installer partners and end customers across the UK and Spain.
We're looking for someone to own the full customer journey on a project - from first enquiry through to sales, project management, deliveries and warranty claims, with some hands-on installation work alongside our apprentice as part of the mix. This is a varied, organisationally-driven role rather than a purely technical one: most of your time will be spent managing opportunities and projects through to completion, not on the tools.
This role would suit someone who wants the variety of sales, project management and installation, rather than being narrowly defined to one function.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
