Role and Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out maintenance and repair work on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
  • Providing field-based engineering support to customers.
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
  • Delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Working independently and managing your own workload.
  • Representing Hydraquip professionally as the face of the company.
  • Maintaining reliability, punctuality, and high standards of workmanship.
  • Participating in on-call work and overtime when required.

Essential Experience

What we’re looking for

  • In-depth knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Experience as a:
    • Mechanical Field Service Engineer, or
    • Maintenance Engineer.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Reliable, punctual, and customer focused.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • Ability to deliver consistently high standards of service.

Desirable Experience

  • Relevant engineering apprenticeship.
  • Higher engineering qualifications (e.g. NVQ, HNC, HND, City & Guilds, Engineering Degree).
  • At least two years' driving experience.
  • Previous experience working in a mobile field service environment.
  • Experience within hydraulic engineering, fluid power, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, plant, or engineering sectors.
