Your Background as a Hydraulics Technician

  • A relevant automotive or engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, IMI, or equivalent)
  • Experience with prestige or luxury marques (Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin, or similar), or knowledge of classic/older vehicles, would be advantageous
  • A background in unit/parts assembly, sub-assembly, refurbishment, reconditioning, or remanufacturing would be advantageous
  • High attention to detail with a methodical, structured approach and confidence working to high standards
  • Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions (full training will be provided)

Hydraulics Technician Responsibilities

  • Strip, clean, inspect, measure, rebuild, and test hydraulic components in line with workshop manuals and company procedures
  • Recondition and test units to a high standard suitable for sale
  • Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and a clean, safe working environment
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues where required
  • Assist with research and development of new products and processes
  • Accurately complete job cards, timesheets, and related documentation, in line with health & safety and PPE requirements
